I've became a huge fan of pan granola. I've tried it for the first time and it has changed my life forever. It is so easy and fast to make, that probably I will never turn my oven on for this. I'm making small batches, experimenting with flavours each time. I'm adding spices, different nuts or dry fruits- it is so fun playing with it.
It is so fast to make that you can even make it in the morning just right before breakfast and serve it warm with yoghurt and fruits. Delicious and healthy brekkie ready in a few minutes. Happy?
This recipe is the first one I've made. I was just craving something with chocolate and bread with Nutella didn't seem like to be the best idea. My boys didn't even make it till breakfast- they ate it straight from the jar. But it was just fine for me. Such granola can be a great and healthy snack, too.
- 100 grams regular oats
- 70 grams hazelnuts, roughly chopped
- 2 Tbsp flaxseed
- 2 Tbsp sunflower seeds
- 2 Tbsp puffed millet
- pinch salt
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 2 Tbsp coconut oil
- 2 Tbsp Nutella
Place oats,nuts, flaxseeds and sunflower seeds on a dry pan. Fry until golden and fragrant.
Add expanded millet and salt. Turn the heat off and set aside.
In a saucepan melt honey, coconut oil and Nutella.
Pour the mixture over the hot nuts and seeds and mix everything precisely.
Set aside and cool it down.
When cold break the bigger chunks and transfer granola to a jar.Enjoy with joghurt, milk or fruits.
